Effective ideas.
Proven Product and UX Solutions.
As a lover of popsicles and great design, I bring a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to help engineering and product teams deliver user-centered products and features. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills working on small teams with limited resources, mastering the art of pivoting quickly, reusing existing components, and leveraging scrappy validation methods to drive success.
My background includes designing multimedia campaigns for large educational, automotive, and publishing corporations early in my career. I then transitioned to UI/UX Design for software, canned content experiences, and small business websites. In recent years, I have grown into an end-to-end Product Design role, working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver responsive, white-label SaaS features in the Real Estate, Manufacturing, and City Management sectors.

Approach
My approach is iterative, holistic and rooted in UX principles. Each project is unique but below is a list of standard methods I have used to understand user need and validate ideas during a product or feature's development.
Discover
I use field studies, user interviews, stakeholder interviews, requirements and constraints gathering, and document and diagram "as is" workflows to understand a user's goals and needs.
Explore
Competitive analysis, design review, persona building, task analysis, journey mapping, prototype feedback & testing, and write user stories to look for solutions that would meet the user needs found in Discovery and ways to leverage the product.
Test
With qualitative usability testing and benchmark testing, I work with the team and cross-functional partners to validate assumptions.
Listen
I look for how the users respond to the improvements with surveys, analytics review by looking at HotJar and Google Analytics, and review the search logs, reported bugs, and frequently-asked questions users make to CS, Sales, and BizDev to evaluate the initiative's success and look for further iterative improvements.
