Effective ideas.
Proven Product and UX Solutions.

Over 10 years of experience leading design initiatives across diverse industries for SaaS/B2B applications and B2C web sites. Successfully solved complex user problems, overhauled a shopping cart, improved engineering efficiency, and drove revenue growth through user-centered, data-backed design.

Approach

My approach is iterative, holistic and rooted in UX principles. Each project is unique but below is a list of standard methods I have used to understand user need and validate ideas during a product or feature’s development.

Discover

I use field studies, user interviews, stakeholder interviews, requirements and constraints gathering, and document and diagram “as is” workflows to understand a user's goals and needs.

Explore

Competitive analysis, design review, persona building, task analysis, journey mapping, prototype testing, and writing user stories are a few methods to look for solutions.

Test

I work with my team and cross-functional partners to validate assumptions with qualitative usability and benchmark testing. Iterating and testing again if needed.

Listen

I look for how the users respond to the improvements with surveys, analytics review (HotJar and Google Analytics), and review the search logs, reported bugs, and frequently-asked questions users make to CS, Sales, and BizDev to evaluate the initiative’s success and look for further iterative improvements.
