Verizon Store Interactive Product Displays

In my 3 year tenure at invodo, I completed over 105 device interfaces for the Verizon store displays. Each had dual branding adherence for both Verizon and the devices like HTC and Samsung. These interfaces displayed canned content, a video or an HTML game, highlighting the device’s features which educated the user and encouraging touch engagement with interactive walk-throughs on the mounted devices or touch screen displays.

UX Goal of the display was to help customers experience the different devices through “touch” and applied the science-based research of touch being the first step to ownership. “The things we touch while shopping can affect what we buy... tactile exposure to the object ‘activated the conceptual representation of that object, which then facilitated subsequent processing of the given object.’” Science News 2017

Academy Sports Interactive Product Selectors

There were 2 versions of the product selector: Running Shoes and Bikes. Content was designed to fit into one of Academy Sports’ standard web pages. I worked with the Art Director on the content and video clips. I created the designs, video transitions, the client presentations and the developer hand-off materials.

UX Goal of the video selector was to help users narrow down the many options on the web site so the user could make a decision and purchase online. The concept of narrowing down the choices for the users and serving them in a curated manner was proven to increase sales based on The Paradox of Choice: Why More is Less  by Barry Schwartz where he discovered that the fewer choices lead to higher purchase conversion due.

L’Oréal Interactive Video Product Selector

Product selector for L’Oréal Kerastase’s line combining existing video and product placement. Designed to fit into the Kerastase page on L’Oréal’s main web site. Collaborated with Video Art Directors and Engineering team to deliver the final. I provided the designs, presentation and hand-off materials.

Goal of the selector was to upsale products and to do it in a way that luxury brand users who were used to brick-and-motor store service would respond and purchase online.  The videos acted like a well-informed sales associate providing information on how to use the products while the cards and notifications provided easy and immediate ways to add the products to a cart.

Web Design

Designed content for a wide variety of websites for small and large businesses.
